Pro Series PMC WAN Cards Overview
ImageStream's Pro Series network cards are used with Pro Series routers to provide a wide range of network interfaces. The PMC line of Pro Series cards comes in a low-profile PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) format. Pro PMC WAN cards support 56K, full and fractional T1/E1, DS3/E3, OC3, and OC12 line interfaces. The list below provides a synopsis of the WAN interfaces supported by each card series.
PMC 520 Series: 1, 2, and 4 port synchronous serial, T1, and E1 adapters, as well as 1 and 2 port DS3 and E3 adapters.
PMC 600 Series: 4 and 8 port synchronous serial, T1, and E1 adapters with channelized support for DS0 multiplexing.
PMC 800 Series: 1 and 2 port HSSI adapters.
PMC 1000 Series: 1 port ATM DS3/E3, SONET/SDH OC3, and SONET/SDH OC12 adapters.
