Available Seminars

"Leading The Router Revolution" This 1-day seminar teaches attendees about basic networking as well as ImageStream's market and products. The seminar is presented in a non-technical approach for those with little or no understanding of networking or internetworking. The seminar gives attendees the knowledge required to make informed decisions about networking technology.

The first half of the course focuses on basic networking protocols and product technologies, and an introduction to the 7 layer networking OSI model. The course covers LAN and WAN protocols and product technologies within routing products.

The second half of the seminar begins by describing ImageStream's strategy and basic technology. The seminar coves lines of business, different market segments such as enterprise, service providers and small to medium business.


"ImageStream Sales Essentials" This 1-day seminar prepares resellers for selling ImageStream solutions to small, medium and large customers. Seminar attendees learn about ImageStream's strategy and basic technology, and how to identify sales opportunities. Through lectures, exercises and case studies, attendees learn how typical enterprise and service provider customer needs can be met using ImageStream products.

The course begins with a high-level overview of the enterprise and service provider market: how it is defined, types of opportunities, growth potential and trends. The course also covers how customers adopt technology to support their business.

Next, techniques for identifying sales opportunities and managing major account sales are demonstrated. The focus of this section is on how to gather and influence customer requirements. Through the use of a clearly defined sales process, attendees can better understand a customer's needs and propose an effective solution.

Finally, key small to medium business solution areas are introduced through case studies. The ImageStream products available for each of these solution areas are covered with an emphasis on key service and feature differentiators. This section also introduces strategies on how to properly position commodity products to beat the competition.


"ImageStream Technical Essentials" This 1-2 day seminar is targeted to networking professionals who plan, design, install, service, support, distribute, resell, or maintain ImageStream products. Candidates for this seminar include anyone interested in developing an advanced technical knowledge of ImageStream products. The seminar covers an array of subject areas, including InterNetworking, Access, VPN, VoIP, DSL, ATM and frame relay products and solutions.

After completing the training seminar, attendees will be able to:
