TransPort^™

The TransPort^™ is ImageStream's low-cost high-performance premise router that supports up to four T1/E1 ports. The TransPort provides advanced business-class features including NAT firewall, QoS, VPN, dynamic routing, line bonding, peer-to-peer traffic control, VoIP gateway, and more. The TransPort's extensive feature set makes it an ideal router for networking applications that require an affordable router with advanced features and wire-speed performance.

The TransPort includes a cool running VIA C7 processor, 256 MB memory, four 10/100 ethernet ports, and an expansion slot for a variety of network adapters. The TransPort can be bundled with single, dual or quad port adapters for synchronous serial or T1/E1 applications, and it supports optional interfaces for ethernet, FXO/FXS, basic rate ISDN (BRI), and 56 K dial-up.

ImageStream Linux also includes the Inetics platform, which provides a tightly integrated Linux kernel, management software, and the Inetics Driver Component Architecture (IDCA). IDCA supports WAN protocols including PPP, Cisco HDLC, frame relay, ATM, and SoftCell^® ATM. Inetics also makes it easy to troubleshoot LAN and WAN connections by providing real-time port status and performance monitoring.

The TransPort uses the Inetics™ platform, which includes modular driver support for WAN protocols including PPP, Cisco HDLC, frame relay, and ATM. Inetics technology also supports realtime port status and performance monitoring, which simplifies troubleshooting for network connections. The TransPort is designed for use in branch offices and other small-scale premise routing applications. It offers wire-speed performance and unwavering reliability in a small but durable steel chassis. The TransPort can replace Cisco 1800 and 2800 series routers, and it provides a low-cost solution for virtual private network (VPN) and quality of service (QoS) applications where wirespeed performance is required.
